Brazil: Caixa bank will remain the shirt sponsor of Corinthians in 2015

The Brazilian bank Caixa Economica Federal will remain the main shirt sponsor of Sport Club Corinthians Paulista (Brazilian Serie A) in 2015, following the publication of the agreement on 23/02/2015.

The contract is officially 30m reais for the season, or about €9.2m. The partnership began in 2012, when the bank paid 1m reais (€300,000) to be the shirt sponsor of the club at the Club World Cup, which the Brazilian won against Chelsea FC (1-0, 16/12/2012). Caixa was the main shirt sponsor eight Brazilian clubs in the Serie A in 2014.

  • The credit company Crefisa pays €7.9m per year until 2016 to be the main shirt sponsor of Palmeiras Paulista, the primary rival of Corinthians.
