2013-14 La Liga: €2.26bn in revenues and €156.2m profit (+8.8%), €2.89bn debt (-3.1%)

The 20 clubs in the Liga BBVA posted a cumulative profit (pre-tax) of €156,240,493 at the end of the 2013-14 season, up 8.8% from 2013-14 (€143,573,380.25), according to the report "Balance of the economic and financial situation of Spanish football, 1999-2014," published by the CSD (Spanish High Council of Sports) on 17/02/2015. La Liga clubs have accumulated €606.4m of losses in the 13 seasons over the 1999-2012 period, and earned €299.8m in profits in 2012-2014.

Clubs in the Spanish first division totaled €2,265,320,818.59 in revenues in 2013-14, up 8.8% compared to 2012-13 (€2,081,715,430.78). La Liga clubs also registered €2,109,080,324.90 in expenses in 2013-14 (+8.8% compared to 2012-13, €1,938,142,050.53). The 20 La Liga clubs combined for €2,890,846,332.66 in debts after 2013-14 (63.5% in the short term debt, 36.5% in long term), a debt decrease of €92.7m compared to 2012-13 (€2.98bn), or a 3.1% decrease over 12 months.
