Infront Sports & Media: Sven Biner will be the director of the Sports Services unit from 04/01/2015

The Swiss media and marketing rights agency Infront Sports & Media appointed the German Sven Biner as director of its Sports Services unit on 24/02/2015. He will assume his new duties on 01/04/2015 and will be in charge of broadcaster servicing (and other holders of media rights), live advertising solutions (including LED advertising boards), and sponsorship and hospitality services that Infront Sports & Media offers.

Until that date, Sven Biner, 38, will continue to hold the position of senior asset manager in the global sports marketing division of adidas, where his role includes managing the partnership with FC Bayern Munich (Bundesliga) and leading the working group on the German sporting good company's sponsoring activations on LED advertising boards and other digital media.

• Sven Biner takes over from Thomas Lessenich at the head of the Infront's Sports Services unit. Lessenich will become the managing director of the joint venture AspireInfront Qatar.
