La Liga: Ooredoo becomes the regional partner of Real Madrid in Algeria until June 2017

The Qatari mobile operator Ooredoo has become the regional partner of Real Madrid CF (Liga BBVA) in Algeria until June 2017, the company announced on 27/02/2015.

The partnership will take the form of "a number of initiatives for Algerian youth talent," said the operator. As part of the deal, Ooredoo can use the image of Real Madrid for its communication campaigns in Algeria.

"We have never been approached for a charity match in Algeria, but it is not excluded that we could organise such a match with Ooredoo as soon as the schedule will allow," said Emilio Butragueño, the institutional relations director at Real Madrid CF.
