Twitter: three of the richest clubs do not appear in the Top 10 of the most followed clubs

Paris Saint-Germain (Ligue 1), FC Bayern Munich (Bundesliga) and Juventus (Serie A TIM) are the three clubs in the Top 10 of the Deloitte Football Money League, which ranks clubs by their business turnover, that are not in the Top 10 of the most followed clubs on the social network Twitter, according to figures compiled and released by News Tank on 26/02/2015. Paris Saint-Germain (1.99 million followers), FC Bayern Munich (1.91 million), and Juventus (1.65 million) and are the 11^th, 12^th, and 13^th most followed clubs in Europe, respectively.

The Twitter Top 10 in Europe have a combined total of 62.2 million followers on the micro-blogging website. With 14.9 million followers, Real Madrid CF is the most followed club in Europe. Two Turkish clubs are among the Europe Twitter Top 10: Galatasaray SK (5.1 million followers) and Fenerbahçe SK (4.1 million).
