Ligue 1: Prince Albert II confirms €25m contribution for renovation of the AS Monaco training centre

The Principality of Monaco will provide €25m for renovations at La Turbie, the training centre of AS Monaco (Ligue 1), confirmed Prince Albert II on 01/03/2015.

The Principality of Monaco, which owns the centre despite its location in France, announced in July 2014 that it will assume 50% of the costs to renovate the training center, estimated to be €50m, but the National Council of Monaco decided, during the 2014 budget amendment vote in November 2014, not to pay that amount.

"This matter will be resolved soon. The €25m will be allocated to the club for the work on the training centre," stated Prince Albert II to the French newspaper Journal du dimance on 01/03/2015.
