Canada 2015: more than 550,000 tickets sold at the opening of individual sales on 26/02/2015

More than 550,000 tickets have already been sold 100 days before start of the FIFA Women's World Cup, held in Canada from 06/06 to 07/05/2015, announced FIFA (Fédération Internationale de Football Association) on 25/02/2015.

Of these 550,000 tickets sold, 150,000 were purchased via payments through Visa, the American electronic payment solutions company, which is a partner of FIFA until 2022. An exclusive pre-sale period was offered to Visa cardholders from 06 to 25/02/2015.

The purchased tickets which have already been bought are hospitality tickets and packages for several matches. FIFA opened the sale of individual tickets on 26/02/2015 at a base price of €17.30. Hospitality rates are offered at €2,145 per game for a box with 12 places (€178.75 per person).
