Premier League: Takao Toshishige named director of the Japanese branch of City Football Group

The City Football Group (CFG), the global football conglomerate of Manchester City FC (Barclays Premier League), launched City Football Japan (CFJ), a branch of the group in Japan, on 03/03/2015. Based in Tokyo (JPN), the new branch will oversee all commercial operations in the country, as well as develop the group's partnership with Yokohama F Marinos, the Japanese first division club in which the club is a minority owner.

CFG have named Takao Toshishige the managing director of City Football Japan. "Creating City Football Japan will give us an opportunity to strengthen further our relationships with Nissan (majority owners of Yokohama F Marinos) and with our colleagues at Yokohama F Marinos, and help to support and develop Japanese football," stated Ferran Soriano, the CEO of City Football Group.
