Eurosport: the channel acquires the TV rights in Europe to MLS from 2015 to 2018

The international TV group Eurosport acquired the exclusive TV rights to broadcast MLS (Major League Soccer, USA-CAN) in Europe (except the UK) for the 2015 to 2018 period (4 seasons), the sports TV channel announced on 05/03/2015. The amount of the agreement was not disclosed.

The deal includes the TV and digital rights to all MLS regular season matches, play-off matches (including the MLS Cup final), and the MLS All-Star game. Matches will be broadcast on both the Eurosport and Eurosport 2 channels, as well as available on the Eurosport Player, the subscription-based Internet platform of the group.

Eurosport MLS weekly programme: 2 to 4 games and an MLS magazine

• The MLS "double-header" every week:
  • One game on Sunday at 23:00 (Central European Time)
  • One game on Monday at 01:00 (CET)
  • A dedicated 30-minute MLS matchday preview broadcast every Friday
• Two additional games may be added each week.
