FC Barcelona club museum is the most visited in Catalonia in 2014 (1,530,484 visitors)

The FC Barcelona Museum (Liga BBVA) was the most visited museum in Catalonia in 2014, with 1,530,484 visitors, the club announced. Attendance at the museum increased 1.6% compared to 2013 (1,506,022 visitors).

In Catalonia, the FC Barcelona Museum is ahead of two museums dedicated to painting: the Dalí Theatre-Museum in Figueres (1,297,311 visitors in 2014) and the Picasso Museum in Barcelona (919,814 visitors).

• Throughout the whole of Spain, the FC Barcelona Museum was the third most visited museum in 2014, behind two museums in Madrid: the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofia (2,673,745 visitors) and the Prado (2,536,844 visitors ).
• The Museum of Real Madrid (Liga BBVA) attracted 920,000 visitors in 2014.
