Bosnia and Herzegovina: Turkish Airlines becomes "primary sponsor" of FK Sarejevo

Turkish Airlines has become the "primary sponsor" of FK Sarejevo (BIH), which includes a presence on the front of the club's shirt, the two parties announced on 25/02/2015.

According to international media, the deal is for three and half years, and is estimated to be largest sponsorship ever in Bosnian sport. "This is one of the most significant moments in the history of Sarajevo and we are all proud. Turkish Airlines is a great company and now we have an obligation to them," stated Edis Kusturica, the chairman of the board of FK Sarejevo.

• FK Sarejevo are currently second in the BH Telecom Premier League of Bosnia with 35 points (10 wins, 5 draws, and 1 loss) after 16 matchdays of the championship.
• The club is owned by the Malaysian businessman Vincent Tan, who also owns the Welsh club Cardiff City FC (Championship, English second division).
