"The joint commission recognises the need to set up a joint selling model, with equal sharing and solidarity in action with amateur football, of the TV rights to the competitions of the Liga BBVA and the Liga Adelante (Spanish second division) through a royal decree that we invite the government to take urgently," announced the LFP (Spanish Professional Football League) and the RFEF (Royal Spanish Football Federation), on 06/03/2015.

The RFEF had proposed to the LFP, on 25/02/2015, the creation of a joint commission to discuss the need for a royal decree allowing collective marketing of TV rights to Spanish professional football competitions (Liga BBVA, Liga Adelante, Copa del Rey).
