France: Federation joins MLS to facilitate placement of French youth players in the United States

The FFF (French Football Federation) and University Elite Athletes, the organisation which represents MLS (Major League Soccer, USA-CAN) in Europe, have entered into a partnership in order to facilitate the placement of young French players who have not yet signed a professional contract into American universities, announced the French Federation on 11/03/2015.

The partnership will allow young players to receive a scholarship to go to a university in the United States. "This agreement is a continuation of the partnership with MLS, through which the French Federation has provided guidance for 17 training centre directors of MLS clubs across two years," said the FFF on 11/03/2015. The FFF has been a partner of the MLS since 25/02/2013.
