CFG, owner of Manchester City, investing €565,000 into the Cityzens Giving charity programme

CFG (City Football Group), the global conglomerate that owns Manchester City FC (Barclays Premier League), New York City FC (Major League Soccer, USA-CAN) and Melbourne City FC (A-League, Australian first division) will invest £400,000 (about €565,000) into its "Cityzens Giving" charity programme, announced Manchester City on 09/03/2015.

This sum shall be available to season ticket holders of the three clubs: each person can choose to invest £5 (€7) into one of the six programmes run by Cityzens Giving, which aids of six cities around the world: Manchester (England), New York (USA), Melbourne (Australia), Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), Cape Town (South Africa) and Barranquilla (Colombia).

For each season ticket bought for of the three CFG clubs, $8 is reserved for the Cityzens Giving programme

• For each season ticket bought to Manchester City FC, New York City FC and Melbourne City FC, $8 (€6.5) is reserved for this charitable programme.
