Premier League: Arsenal, Everton, and Stoke City to feature in the Barclays Asia Trophy 2015

Arsenal FC, Everton FC, and Stoke City FC (Barclays Premier League) will feature in the 2015 edition of the Barclays Asia Trophy, announced the Premier League on 11/03/2015. The three Premier League teams will be joined by a "Singapore Select 11" team to form a four-team knock-out competition in Singapore in July 2015.

This is the first time the Barclays Asia Trophy will take place in Singapore. The first two matchdays will be on 15/07 and 18/07/2015, respectively, with another day for the final and the third-place match to be determined later. All matches will take place in the National Stadium (55,000 seats) in Kallang (Singapore), which was inaugurated on 30/06/2014.

• The National Stadium is part of the Singapore Sports Hub complex, which was completed in June 2014.
  • The stadium notably hosted a friendly between a "Singapore Select 11" and Juventus (0-5) on 17/08/2014.
• This will be the second time Everton has participated in the Barclays Asia Trophy, after the club's first appearance in 2005.
