FIFA: France designated the host of the 2019 Women's World Cup

France has been designated the organising country of the 2019 Women's World Cup by the FIFA Executive Committee (unanimous decision) meeting at the FIFA headquarters in Zurich (SUI), announced Joseph Blatter, president of the international federation on 19/03/2015.

France and South Korea were the two candidates for the organisation of this competition. France also gets the organisation of the U-20 Women's World Cup in 2018.

The 2015 edition of the Women's World Cup will be held in Canada from 06/06 to 05/07/2015.
