The 20 main shirt sponsorships in the Liga BBVA are estimated at an average of €4.2m for the 2014-15 season. In total, the various agreements in Spain amount to a total allocation of €84.2m, the third largest European market behind the Barclays Premier League (€208m) and the Bundesliga (€133m).

The contracts of FC Barcelona (Qatar Airways, €32m) and Real Madrid CF (Emirates, €25m) account for 68% (€57m) of total contributions paid to Spanish clubs. Malaga CF, which display the Unesco logo, and Valencia CF, who do not have a shirt partner, are the only Spanish top division clubs to not collect via a main shirt sponsorship partnership in 2014-15.
