Serie A: average amount of €3.8m for a shirt sponsorship in 2014-15

The shirt sponsorship contracts of the Serie A TIM amount to an estimated average of €3.8m for the 2014-15 season. In total, the various shirt sponsorship agreements in the Italian championship amount to €76m all together, or 36.5% of the overall total of the Barclays Premier League in 2014-15 (€208m).

The three major contracts in the Serie A: AC Milan - Emirates airline (€17m), Juventus - Jeep (€13m) and Inter - Pirelli (€12.9m) accounted for 43% (€42.9m) of the total paid by partners with the Italian clubs. Seven clubs in the Serie A (AS Roma, SS Lazio, CFC Genoa, US Palermo, UC Sampdoria, AC Cesena and ACF Fiorentina) do not have a main shirt sponsor in 2014-15.

The Italian automaker Fiat, through its Jeep brand, has extended its contract as shirt sponsor of Juventus until the end of the 2020-21 season for an annual amount of €17m on 31/07/2014. Jeep has been the shirt sponsor of Juventus for the 2012-13 season.
