La Liga: El Clasico was broadcast live to 5,000 passengers on 17 Turkish Airlines flights

El Clasico, FC Barcelona - Real Madrid CF (2-1, Matchday 28 of the Liga BBVA) was watched live by about 5,000 passengers on 17 intercontinental Turkish Airlines flights on 22/03/2015. This follows an agreement concluded on 19/03/2015 between Turkish Airlines, which has Lionel Messi (FC Barcelona) as one of its ambassadors, and the Spanish audiovisual group Mediapro, which distributes the international TV rights to the Liga BBVA and which provided the feed for the match.

In total, the match was broadcast in more than 100 countries around the world, with a potential audience of more than 400 million viewers. The time of the start of the game, 21:00 CET (Central European Time), allowed a live broadcast at 14:00 in Mexico, 16:00 on the East Coast of the United States and at 17:00 in Brazil.
