ZDF: 9.84 million Germans watch the Germany - Australia friendly, 32.1% audience share

The friendly match between Germany and Australia (2-2) at the Fritz-Walter-Stadion (46,000 seats) in Kaiserslautern (GER), saw the German public broadcaster ZDF, the only channel to broadcast the match live in Germany, attract 9.84 million viewers on average during the match (kickoff at 20:30 CET) on Wednesday 25/03/2015, according to figures from the audience measuring institutes AGF, GfK, TV Scope 5.0, and media control.

This score gave ZDF an audience share of 32.1% across all formats, the best performance in the German TV market for the entire day on Wednesday 25/03/2015. The match attracted 4.83 million viewers aged 14 to 59, an audience share of 28.4% for this age group.
