La Liga: Luyuan (electric vehicles) becomes the first partner of Real Madrid in China

Luyuan, the Chinese manufacturer of electric vehicles, has become the first partner of Real Madrid CF (Liga BBVA) in China, announced the club on 27/03/2015. The contract covers at least the 2015-16 and 2016-17 seasons.

The club has been working to develop its regional partnerships in Asia for several months. It has targeted China by being present on the Chinese microblogging platform Sina Weibo, on which it has 1.28 million followers as of 30/03/2015.
