Ligue 1: Montpellier HSC inaugurates its new training centre on 28/08/2015 (cost: €19.5m)

Louis Nicollin, the president of Montpellier HSC (Ligue 1) and his son Laurent Nicollin, the chief executive, inaugurated the "Bernard-Gasset training centre", the club's new training centre, on 28/03/2015.

"With a surface area of 11 hectares, it is made up of an ultra-modern building dedicated to the professional team, locker rooms, a weights room, medical facilities, a video room, but also the new dressing rooms of the club's women's and youth teams. The centre also includes seven pitches of various levels of certification which can host the club's youth teams," said the club.

The total cost of the project was €19.5m: €7m for the acquisition of land (located in Grammont, east of Montpellier) from the City and €12.5m in demolition and construction works.

• Bernard Gasset, who died in 2002, was involved in the founding of Montpellier HSC alongside Louis Nicollin in 1974.
