France/L'Équipe: 1.4% audience share in 2024 (-0.2% vs 2023), worst annual audience share since 2020

The French free DTT channel La chaine L'Équipe posted an average audience share of 1.4% in France in 2024, down 0.2 points on 2023, according to data released by the French audience measurement agency Médiamétrie on on 30/12/2024.

The channel posted an audience share of 1.6% in 2023, its highest ever. The average audience share achieved in 2024 was the worst recorded since 2020 (1.3%).

The competitions broadcast by the channel in 2024 included the Le Mans 24 Hours (15 and 16/06/2024), the 2024-25 Nations League, the Euro 2024 qualifiers and 2024-25 Serie A Enilive matches. The channel also broadcast 39 preparatory matches for the French teams for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games (basketball, handball, volleyball, 3x3 basketball, football).
