FIFA has published a seven-point document that presents and defends its new regulations on working with intermediaries, which replaced the old regulations on FIFA players' agents on 01/04/2015.

"The objective of the new regulations is to provide a framework for tighter control and supervision of the transactions relating to player transfers, to improve transparency and to fight the illegal activities by agents," said FIFA in the document, published on 31/03/2015.

The FIFA Congress, which met in São Paulo (BRA) on 11/06/2014, approved several amendments to the FIFA statutes necessary for the implementation of these new regulations.
