Formula 1: adidas becomes a partner of the Mercedes team, a first for the brand in motorsport

adidas is to become the official equipment supplier of the Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Team from 2025 as part of a "multi-year partnership," announced the German Formula 1 team on 07/01/2025.

"adidas enters motorsport with a partnership that unites two icons in one of the fastest growing sports," said the team.

This agreement is valued at €11m per season, according to the German daily Bild, which had already reported on the existence of this partnership on 03/07/2024.

As an official partner of the Mercedes team, adidas will design and create a complete range of clothing, footwear and accessories for all staff members, including drivers, mechanics and engineers. "Several limited-edition drops are also planned throughout the year," added the team.
