80 sports programmes featured among the top 100 television audiences in the United States in 2024, compared with 96 in 2023, according to data from the American Nielsen Institute.

72 of these 80 programmes involved National Football League matches (93 in 2023), while four programmes involved NCAA American football matches and two involved programmes from the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. The remaining two programmes involved an MLB game and an NCAA women's basketball game.
