The 2024-25 NFL regular-season games recorded an average audience of 17.5 million viewers in the United States, according to data compiled by the American institute Nielsen in January 2025.

This figure is down 2.2% on 2023-24, but represents the second-best average audience for an NFL regular season since the 2015-16 season:
• 2023-24: 17.9 million
• 2022-23: 16.7 million
• 2021-22: 17.1 million
• 2020-21: 15.4 million
• 2019-20: 16.5 million
• 2018-19: 15.8 million
• 2017-18: 14.9 million
• 2016-17: 16.5 million
• 2015-16: 17.9 million

In 2024, NFL games recorded 72 of the 100 most-watched programmes on American television (93 in 2023).
