• Dea H, the holding company that owns Atalanta BC (Serie A Enilive) and is majority-owned by a group of American investors led by Stephen Pagliuca, has completed a €70m capital increase, according to Italian daily La Gazzetta dello Sport. The investment is backed in particular by the American fund Arctos Partners, already a minority shareholder in Paris Saint-Germain (Ligue 1 McDonald's) with a 12.5% stake.
• The Stade de France has attracted a symbolic 40 million spectators since its inauguration.
• Women's Professional Leagues Limited (WPLL) will be conducting a trial allowing fans to consume alcohol in the stands at certain home matches of four English women's second division clubs (Bristol City, Southampton, Newcastle and Birmingham).
• The dates for the Asian Cup in 2027, which will be hosted for the first time by Saudi Arabia, have been confirmed. The 19th edition of the competition will take place from 07/01 to 05/02/2027 in five stadiums in three cities (Riyadh, Jeddah and Al Khobar).
