UEFA Children's Foundation: €4.569m allocated to 64 projects in 2023-24, including 36 outside Europe

UEFA, via its Children's Foundation, invested €4.569m to support 64 new projects during the 2023-24 season, according to the European confederation on 10/01/2025. A total of 128 initiatives (for 534,847 beneficiaries) were supported by the organisation during the period.

The funds allocated for the 2023-24 financial year were distributed as follows:
• €2.318m to support 28 projects in Europe
• €723,858 for 11 initiatives in Africa
• €842,965 for 15 projects in Asia
• €275,256 for five projects in South America
• €233,486 for four initiatives in Central America
• €175,000 for one project in Oceania

"As the highlight of the UEFA calendar for 2023-24, Euro 2024 provided an opportunity for the UEFA Foundation to partner with local and international organisations to offer once-in-a-lifetime experiences to disadvantaged children. In collaboration with the Kaizen Foundation (owned by Kaizen Gaming, parent company of bookmaker Betano, which is an official sponsor of the competition), 10,000 tickets were donated to children and teenagers in all ten Euro 2024 host cities as part of the 10,000 Smiles…
