Equipment manufacturers: record sales of $7.8bn for New Balance in 2024 (+20% vs 2023)

New Balance is set to post "record sales of $7.8bn (€7.5bn)" for the 2024 financial year (ending 31/12/2024), up 20% on 2023 ($6.5bn/€5.9bn on 31/12/2023), according to Joe Preston, CEO of the US sports equipment manufacturer, who spoke to the US financial news outlet Yahoo Finance on 13/01/2025.

The executive also estimates that the American sports equipment manufacturer's revenues should exceed $10bn (€9.67bn) "over the next few years". Among the factors contributing to the brand's growth in 2024: an increase in the number of distribution partners and the stock offered by them, greater digital engagement around the brand and a shift in market share that has attracted a younger customer base.

In 2024, New Balance became the official equipment supplier of the WNBA as part of a multi-year agreement signed on 16/07, and the title sponsor of the Mont Blanc Marathon (organised by the Chamonix Sports Club) for 2025-2029, as announced on 23/10.
