Enfield Investment (USA) launches dedicated sports fund ($4bn) in partnership with SURJ Sports (PIF)

US investment fund Enfield Investment Partners has launched "a new global sports asset fund valued at more than $4bn (€3.9bn)" by entering into "a strategic partnership" with SURJ Sports Investment, a sports investment company launched in 2023 and owned by Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund (PIF), announced the two parties on 13/01/2025.

"In forming the strategic partnership, SURJ Sports Investments and Enfield Investment Partners commit to working closely together to discover, share and harness the potential of prospective growth opportunities within the global sports landscape, across properties and assets including sports teams, leagues, media and wider sport infrastructure," explained the two partners.

"In doing so, both will aim to attract further regional and global investment targeted at bringing sports fans and audiences closer together, in a way that seeks to deliver widespread economic and social returns," added Enfield Investment Partners and SURJ Sports Investment.
