Spain: €15.5m in turnover (+27%) & a net profit of €30,347 for Liga F in 2023-24

For its second full financial year, the Liga F posted a turnover of €15.5m in 2023-24 (from 01/07/2023 to 30/06/2024), up 27% on 2022-23 (€12.2m), according to the annual accounts published by the Spanish Professional Women's Football League (Liga Profesional de Fútbol Femenino) in January 2025.

The body's revenues are divided into three categories:
• Domestic (€5.19m) and international (€2.36m) TV rights: €7.55m
• Sponsorship and licensing revenue: €1.87m
• Agreement making LALIGA the marketing agency for the Women's League until 2026-27: €6.13m in 2023-24

Liga F also posted a net profit of €30,347 at the end of the 2023-24 financial year, down from €366,095 in 2022-23. The league reported equity of €415,644, compared with €385,297 the previous year.

The league, whose statutes were approved by the board of directors of the Consejo Superior de Deportes (CSD) on 14/03/2022, was created in September 2022 to mark the start of the first season of the Spanish women's football championship with professional status. Until then, the competition had been organised by the RFEF.
