Premier League: Infront extends free-to-air TV rights in sub-Saharan Africa to 2025-2028

Infront has renewed its free-to-air rights to market the Premier League in sub-Saharan Africa for the 2025-2028 cycle, announced the Swiss media and marketing rights agency on 20/01/2025.

The agency has been marketing these rights since 2019. The renewed agreement includes for the first time the TV rights to the Emirates FA Cup over the same period. The rights to broadcast the Premier League in sub-Saharan Africa are held by the Canal+ (French language) and Supersport International (all media and all languages) groups over the 2022-2025 cycle.

"The updated deal covers 48 countries in sub-Saharan Africa (excluding South Africa) and comprises 33 Premier League matches per season from 2025-26 to 2027-28, along with four Emirates FA Cup rounds annually starting in 2024-25, making it a total of 37 weeks of top-class English football delivered to sub-Saharan Africa per season.
