Manchester City FC (Premier League) posted a turnover (excluding transfers) of €826.2m during the 2022-23 financial year (from 01/07/2022 to 30/06/2023), a little more than that of Paris Saint-Germain (Ligue 1 McDonald's) who posted €807m, as the two clubs prepare to face each other on Matchday 7 in the new league phase of the Champions League on Wednesday 22/01/2025 (kick-off at 21:00 CET) at the Parc des Princes (Paris, FRA).

During the 2022-23 season, Paris Saint-Germain's wage bill stood at €621m, while Manchester City's wage bill was €426m. The reigning Premier League champions posted a record net profit of €92.3m, while the Ligue 1 champions posted a net loss of €109.8m.

While PSG's turnover for the 2023-24 season is not yet known, Manchester City posted a turnover of €843.7m and a net pforit €86.9m. The English club's wage bill fell slightly to €423.7m.
