Netflix: a turnover of $39bn (+15.6%) & 301 million global subscribers (+41.3m) in 2024

Netflix posted a turnover of $39bn (€37.536bn) in 2024, up 15.6% compared to 2023 ($32.723bn/€29.65bn), according to results published by the American streaming platform on 21/01/2025.

The streaming service also posted a net profit of $8.711bn (€8.384bn). Netflix had 301.63 million subscribers worldwide in December 2024 (+41.35 million versus December 2023), a record for the streaming service. 101.13 million of these subscribers (or 33.5%) are located in the EMEA region.

In 2024, Netflix stepped up its strategy of acquiring live sports rights (see below). The platform was recently awarded the exclusive rights to broadcast the entire FIFA Women's World Cup in the United States in 2027 (held in Brazil) and 2031 (host country/ies not yet designated).
