AC Milan: conflicting information about sale of the club from Silvio Berlusconi to Chinese interests

There is conflicting information circulating in Italy about the possible sale of AC Milan (Serie A TIM) by Silvio Berlusconi to Chinese investors, on 03/04/2015. Zong Qinghou (fortune estimated at €19bn), president of Hangzhou Wahaha Group, China's largest beverage producer, denied interest in AC Milan on 02/04/2015, citing "an April Fool's joke". Meanwhile, Silvio Berlusconi's interlocutors indicated the opposite, saying that the Italian businessman, on 02/04/2015, made a transaction in which 75% of the club was sold and details of the operation would be known in the coming months; the speculated transaction: 75% of the club for between €1 and €1.5bn.

Italian media also report that on 02/04/2015 Silvio Berlusconi received for dinner in his Arcore villa (outside Milan), Richard Lee, a Hong Kong businessman with interests in China, who had previously attended the AC Milan - ACF Fiorentina match (1-1, Matchday 8 of the Serie A), accompanied by the owner of the Milan club, on 26/10/2014.
