Equipment manufacturers: Antoine Griezmann appointed as an ambassador for Decathlon (via Kipsta)

Antoine Griezmann, a former French international playing for Club Atlético de Madrid (LALIGA EA Sports), has been appointed as a football ambassador for Decathlon, announced the French group on 24/01/2025. Decathlon has thus become the Frenchman's official equipment supplier, replacing Puma, for which he had been an ambassador since 2010, having previously been under contract with adidas.

Antoine Griezmann, who has more than 70 million followers on social media (including 41 million on Instagram), has been wearing "since the end of 2024" a model of boots by Kipsta, Decathlon's brand dedicated to football, "with which he has already scored nine goals, including three in the Champions League". He becomes one of Kipsta's first brand ambassadors alongside Polish player Przemysław Frankowski of RC Lens (Ligue 1 McDonald's ).

"The French striker will don the brand's studs and will also take part in the co-creation of future Decathlon football boot models that he will wear and that can be found in shops," explained Decathlon, which also has contracts with Frenchmen Teddy Riner (judo), Gaël…
