European Leagues: Jacco Swart, managing director, to step down on 06/03/2025

Jacco Swart (NED), managing director of European Leagues since June 2019, will step down at the organisation's general assembly to be held in Frankfurt (GER) on 06/03/2025, announced the organisation on 23/01/2025.

"I have been passionate and active in representing the interests of professional domestic football competitions at international level as both a board member and later as managing director of the European Leagues for more than 10 years. I thank the members of the Association for their cooperation and their trust during this entire period. It has been an honour and a real pleasure to have worked with and for all the leagues, in the interest of strong and exciting national competitions," said the former CEO of the Eredivisie (2013-2019).

"Jacco will leave us with the thanks and appreciation of all 39 member leagues. We look forward to giving him a proper send-off in Frankfurt and wish him the very best for his future," said Pedro Proença (POR), president of European Leagues.
