TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations 2025: logo unveiled, group stage draw on 27/01/2025

The Confederation of African Football and the organising committee of the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2025 unveiled the visual identity of the competition on 25/01/2025, two days before the draw for the group phase, to be held at the Mohammed V National Theatre in Rabat (MAR) on 27/01/2025 (19:00 CET).

The logo "inspired by Moroccan ‘zellij’, a timeless mosaic art form, reflects the synergy between tradition and modernity, symbolises the unity of nations, players and fans, bridges the world of sport and art, and tells a story of pride, resilience and hope," said CAF, which also highlighted the symbolism of the colours used: "gold for achievement, green for unity, red for resilience and blue for boundless potential."

Morocco is hosting the AFCON for the first time since 1988. Initially scheduled for summer 2025, the competition has been rescheduled from 21/12/2025 to 18/01/2026, mainly due to the holding of the FIFA Club World Cup 2025, organised in the United States from 15/06 to 13/07/2025, in which four clubs and numerous African internationals are taking part.
