Tennis: launch of Tennis Channel (tournaments, documentaries, archives, etc.) in France on 27/01

The American television channel Tennis Channel (owned by the Sinclair Broadcast Group media group), which has been available in the United States since 2003, has launched in France on Monday 27/01/2025, it announced the same day.

The channel is initially available free of charge on Samsung TV Plus, the telecommunications operator's free television service. It will then be available "very shortly on TLC devices, the Molotov application and certain telecom operators," according to the channel.

"Tennis Channel is offering a 100% tennis channel from 27/01 with the broadcast of the Open Occitanie in Montpellier (ATP 250). Tennis Channel has acquired the rights to around 20 French tournaments, and from 07/02 will be broadcasting the Open 13 in Marseille (ATP 250), the BNP Paribas Primrose (ATP 175) in May and the Moselle Open (ATP 250) to round off the season in November. The women's circuit will also be in the spotlight with, among others, the Capfinances Open in Rouen (WTA 250) in April, the Clarins Trophy (WTA 125) in Paris in May and the Limoges Open (WTA 125) in December."
