RFEF: Seat (car manufacturer) extends as a sponsor of the Men's & Women's Spanish Cups until 2025-26

Spanish car manufacturer Seat has extended its agreement with the Real Federacion Espanola de Futbol (RFEF) as an official sponsor of the Men's and Women's Spanish Cups (Copa del Rey and Copa de la Reina) for a further two seasons, until 2025-26, announced the body on 28/01/2025.

The Spanish group has been a partner of the men's competition for 15 editions, and of the women's tournament since 2019. Under the renewed agreement, Seat will continue to benefit from visibility on signage in Spanish stadiums and in the media during matches in both competitions, according to the Spanish Federation, which generated €363m in revenue in 2023, of which €76.2m came from sponsorship (21% of the total).

The Copa del Rey also has a new title sponsor for 2024-25: Spanish insurance company Mapfre, which acquired the naming rights from the RFEF for three seasons (2024-2027) on 28/10/2024. The competition is now known as the Copa del Rey Mapfre. Since the 2019-20 edition, the women's tournament has been named the Copa de la Reina Iberdrola.
