The Olympique de Marseille - Paris Saint-Germain (2-3), Matchday 31 of the 2014-15 Ligue 1, which was broadcast live on the pay-TV channel Canal+, the only channel to broadcast the match in France, drew an average of 2.75 million subscribers during the match for the pay-TV channel on Sunday 05/04/2015 (kick-off at 21:00 CET), according to figures from the French audience measuring institute Médiamétrie. The "Classico" recorded a peak audience of 3.1 million subscribers towards the end of the match.

The average of 2.75 million subscribers during the game represents a 49.9% share of subscribers, which means that nearly one in two subscribers to Canal+ who were watching TV at the time were watching the "Classico". This is the largest audience share of subscribers for a broadcast of any Paris Saint-Germain - Olympique de Marseille match in prime time in the history of Canal+, and the "third best audience for the 'Classico' and also for a Ligue 1 match," said Canal+ on 06/04/2015.
