Spain: RTVE to broadcast Euro 2028 & men's national team matches until 2028

RTVE has acquired the broadcasting rights for Euro 2028 from UEFA via the agency CAA Eleven, and has extended its TV rights for matches involving the Spanish men's national team for the 2026-2028 cycle in Spain, announced the public broadcasting group on 30/01/2025.

The Spanish national team's matches include those played in the 2026-27 Nations League, the qualifiers for Euro 2028 and "20 other matches with other European national teams," according to RTVE, which added that a total of 40 national team matches will be broadcast in addition to Euro 2028.

Euro 2024 was broadcast in full and exclusively by RTVE in Spain. The broadcasting group had previously extended its rights to broadcast Spanish men's national team matches over the 2022-2026 cycle, on 27/05/2022. The current agreement also includes broadcasting rights for the Women's Euro 2025, the 2023 and 2025 U21 European Championships, the two Nations League finals in 2022-23 and 2024-25, and the two Finalissimas (the competition pitting the winners of the Euro against the winners of the Copa América) in 2022 and 2025.
