Sky: record audience for 2014-15 Bundesliga match with Borussia-Bayern (1.51 million subscribers)

Borussia Dortmund - FC Bayern Munich (0-1), Matchday 27 of the 2014-15 Bundesliga, was broadcast live by the German pay-TV channel Sky Bundesliga 1, the only channel to broadcast the match in Germany. It saw the channel, which belongs to the Sky Deutschland broadcasting group, attract 1.51 million subscribers on average during the match on Saturday 04/04/2015 (programming beginning at 17:30 CET, kick-off at 18:30).

This is the best audience for a Bundesliga match broadcast by the Sky group in 2014-15, ahead of the first match of the two teams, Bayern Munich - Borussia Dortmund (2-1, Matchday 10), which was watched by an average audience of 1.49 million on Saturday, 01/11/2014 (kick-off at 18.30).

The mark for the second meeting of the two sides represents an audience share of 6% across all of German TV at the time of the programme, and 10.6% of the target demographic of individuals aged 14 to 49. Sky had not previously crossed the 10% audience share mark amongst the 14-49 target demographic with a Bundesliga match in 2014-15.
