Frauen-Bundesliga: record revenues, attendances & audiences for the clubs in 2023-24

Records broken in terms of revenue, attendances and audience figures: these are the three main findings of the 2023-24 Google Pixel Frauen-Bundesliga report published by the German Football Association (Deutscher Fussball Bund, DFB) on 31/01/2025.

With €31m generated by the 12 clubs in 2023-24 (€25m in 2022-23) and an average revenue of €2.65m, revenue is at an all-time high. This figure is 2.6 times higher than in the 2017-18 season.

In addition, a record total of 379,653 spectators came to the German stadiums, an average of 2,876 per match. These figures are up on the 2022-23 season, which saw an average of 2,723 spectators per game, for a total of 359,404 fans in the stadiums.

In broadcasting terms, the 12 clubs are gaining in visibility. "In the 2023-24 season, MagentaSport and DAZN co-exclusively broadcast all 132 matches live. Sport1, ARD and ZDF also showed 31 matches on free TV. On average, around 390,000 viewers watched these matches.
