Italy: Gabriele Gravina, sole candidate, re-elected FIGC president with 98.7% of the votes

Gabriele Gravina has been re-elected president of the FIGC until 2028 with 98.7% of the votes cast (481,084 out of 487,500) in the first round of voting during the FIGC general assembly held at the Rome Cavalieri Waldorf Astoria (hotel) in Rome (ITA) on 03/02/2025. Gravina was the only candidate in the running.

First elected on 22/10/2018 and then re-elected on 22/02/2021, Gabriele Gravina now begins his third term at the head of the Federazione Italiana Giuoco Calcio.

"This is a great honour and a source of great pride for me. Now all we have to do is turn our vision into a promise of victory. We have to keep going and achieve all the goals that football really needs. I will conclude with a quote from Henry Ford: ''Coming together is the beginning. Keeping together is progress. Working together is success," said the re-elected president.
