Spain: Reyes Bellver Alonso appointed director of women's football at the RFEF

Reyes Bellver Alonso has been appointed director of women's football at the Real Federacion Espanola de Futbol, announced the RFEF on 01/02/2025.

"Backed by a prestigious career as a lawyer specialising in sports law both nationally and internationally, an expert in the sector and with more than 15 years of experience, Reyes Bellver Alonso comes to the position with numerous challenges ahead of her. These include the development and promotion of women's football, as well as working with the Spanish national football teams to continue to consolidate their sporting success," said the Spanish Football Federation.

Reyes Bellver Alonso has been an arbitrator with the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) since July 2023. She also works as a sports lawyer with the firm Bellver Sport, which she set up in 2010. "The RFEF continues to incorporate people with a proven professional track record as part of its internal restructuring process, in this new stage since Rafael Louzán took over as president in December 2024."
