Olympic Games: TelevisaUnivision acquires exclusive TV rights in Mexico for the 2026-2032 cycle

The Spanish-language pay-TV and free-TV group TelevisaUnivision has acquired exclusive broadcasting rights in Mexico for the Olympic Summer and Winter Games for the 2026-2032 cycle from the International Olympic Committee, announced the IOC on 04/02/2025.

The agreement includes the in Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic Winter Games, the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Summer Games, the French Alps 2030 Olympic Winter Games and the Brisbane 2032 Olympic Summer Games. Editions of the Youth Olympic Games during the 2026-2032 cycle are also included. TelevisaUnivision was the exclusive broadcaster of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games in Mexico.

"The agreement includes a commitment to at least 200 hours of free-to-air coverage of the Olympic Games, as well as free-to-air coverage of the Olympic Winter Games and Youth Olympic Games. The free-to-air broadcast will be complemented with pay TV coverage, as well as simulcast coverage on ViX, the company's streaming platform," said the IOC.

• The agreement also includes non-exclusive radio rights to the Olympic Games in Mexico over the 2026-2032 cycle.
