Como 1907: Stadio Giuseppe Sinigaglia development plan presented together with the City Council

Como 1907 (Serie A Enilive) and the Municipality of Como (Lombardy, ITA) have announced a plan for the development of the Stadio Giuseppe Sinigaglia, in collaboration with British architects Populous, on 04/02/2025.

"The first stage of the procedural process is the submission and approval of the Document of Feasibility of Project Alternatives (DOCFAP). The expected timeline for the redevelopment is as follows:
• Design (feasibility) and Approval Process - May 2026;
• Construction Phase I - October 2027;
• Construction Phase II - August 2028."

"Como 1907 and the Municipality are committed to an open and transparent process and have engaged with and will continue to engage with fans and local residents throughout the development. The final design will be presented following the completion of the first phase," said the club.

Como 1907, who were promoted to the Serie A after the 2023-24 season, played its first matches of 2024-25 at the Stadio Marcantonio-Bentegodi (Hellas Verona's stadium) while work was being carried out on the Stadio Giuseppe Sinigaglia, before gradually returning to…
