Indonesia: The Qatari bank QNB to be the title sponsor of the Indonesian league until 2017

The Qatari bank QNB (Qatar National Bank) has become the title sponsor of the ISL (Indonesia Super League) from the 2015 season until the end of the 2017 edition of the championship, announced the company on 03/04/2015.

The competition will henceforth be known as the QNB League. The championship of 18 teams was founded in 2008. QNB has been present in the Indonesian market since 2011 and aims, with this agreement, to increase its visibility in the country.

The bank is also visible on the shirt sleeve of Paris Saint-Germain (Ligue 1), is under contract with the club until June 2016. This deal is estimated at €5m per season. QNB is also a partner of the AFC.
